Bio:
Ever since I caught a glimpse of a ghost town as a child, I was intrigued by the abandoned. With each uninhabited building I came across, I became more and more curious as to who had resided/worked there and what happened to make them dessert their property.
My pre-teen years brought me to the inside of an abandoned racetrack and a long forgotten hospital. I fell in love with the rush of attempting to stay invisible, every calculated step to stay safe, and every beautiful, decrepit treasure I discovered. I felt as if I were on the most exhilarating roller coaster, except I was the one in control.
In high school, I constantly begged friends to go on these adventures with me. The New Jersey pine barrens revealed remnants of train tracks and old cottages while my car took us to places I had heard of far away. Back then, I didn't use Google or any other internet resources for exploring; I figured I was the only one who was interested in these things. It wasn't until years later that I had heard the term "Urban Exploration."
