Urban Exploration should, by no means, be considered a safe hobby. Exploring abandoned buildings can bring the obvious danger of being caught by authorities; but the physical dangers are what one should truly be concerned with. Brittle floors, rusty nails, needles, and elevator shafts are just a few of the things that can send you to the hospital, if not worse. Scrappers and the homeless are not an uncommon sight in these empty structures. While not all are aggressive, some are, and are therefore best avoided.
We do not condone trespassing; nothing on this site, the videos, or anything else we publish should be taken as the right to do so. It IS illegal. If you do decide to explore, despite these warnings, know what you are doing, do it carefully, and follow the UrbEx code: take nothing but photographs, leave nothing but footprints.
